6 BAB PLAYERS TO SHINE DURING NBA ALL-STAR WEEKEND

BRANDON KNIGHT MVP BAB New York, NY - Andre Drummond (Detroit Pistons), Dion Waiters (Cleveland Cavaliers), Kemba Walker (Charlotte Bobcats), Isaiah Thomas (Sacramento Kings) and Brandon Knight - pictured (Detroit Pistons) have been selected to play in the Rising Stars Challenge during NBA All-Star Weekend. In addition, Demetrious Nichols (Sioux Falls Skyforce) will play in the NBA D-League All-Star Game.

Drummond (BAB Invitational 2011), Waiters (BAB Invitational 2010), Walker (BAB Challenge 2005 and BAB Invitational 2007), Thomas (BAB Invitational 2007) and Knight (BAB Invitational 2009) were all participants in Big Apple Basketball's high school showcases. Nichols played for the BAB Pro Summer Team in 2012.

Knight will also participate in the Skills Challenge during all-star weekend. The NBA All-Star festivities will take place in Houston, February 15-17.
