AARON WALKER NAMED MAAC ROOKIE OF WEEK

aaron walkerRiverdale, NY - Congratulations to Aaron Walker on being named MAAC Rookie of the Week.

The Manhattan College guard averaged 12 points and three rebounds for the Jaspers.

In this photo, Walker is going against current Temple freshman Alani Moore in the 2016 Big Apple Basketball Invitational. Walker played for Benjamin Cardozo  (Queens) and Moore played for Friendship Collegiate (Washington, DC). Earlier this week, they matched up for the first time in college as Temple defeated Manhattan.

Both players played well in the BAB Invitational, with Cardozo coming out on top. Walker was a 2nd Team All-Tournament selection after posting 12 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists and four steals, while Moore led his team with 14 points, eight assists, four rebounds and two steals.
