BAB'S CURRY HONORARY COACH AT TOP 24 ALL-STAR GAME
Brooklyn, NY - BAB President, Jason Curry was selected as one of the honorary coaches for the FunSport Top-Flight 24 All-Star Game and Future 16 All-Star Showcase. He coached the games with Ray Anczelowicz of Gotham Hoops.
There were two showcase all-star games featuring 16 of the best seventh graders (Class of 2018) and 24 of the top eighth graders (Class of 2017) in the Northeast.
The players were chosen from the FunSport Jr. Pro League with participants from Washington DC, Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and more!
Curry's teams came away with wins in both the seventh grade (62-59) and eighth grade (73-71) games. Tyrek Chambers earned MVP honors in the Future 16 showcase, leading the way with 18 points, 13 rebounds and four steals. Azar Swain earned MVP of the Top Flight 24 game with 15 points.
