New York, NY - The Big Apple Basketball Training staff led a youth basketball training program for the Pro City Summer League.
The kids ranging in age from 10-13 were selected by the coaches of the Pro City Summer League. The BAB coaches were responsible for organizing a developmental and fun program for the youth to participate in for eight-weeks. The drills focused on teaching the kids passing, shooting, dribbling, rebounding, defense, teamwork, basketball IQ, responsibility, along with plyometric workouts to help develop speed, quickness, agility, power, balance, and vertical jump.
Throughout the summer there were over 60 kids who attended the training.
On the final day of the program, some of the youth were recognized for their effort and dedication with awards and pizza.
