GRANVILLE GITTENS SELECTED TO NABC ALL-STAR GAME

Granville Baruch ActionNew York, NY - Baruch College senior, Granville Gittens was selected to participate in the NABC Division III National All-Star game.

The game was played on Saturday, March 21 at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, VA, prior to the Division III National Championship.  He was the first Baruch College player ever selected for this all-star game.

The 6-6 Gittens averaged 15 points, seven rebounds, 1.5 blocks per game and led Baruch to their first CUNYAC championship, since 2000.  He was selected Tournament MVP, after hitting two buzzer beater shots in the semifinals and championship games.  He also earned 1st Team All-CUNYAC and 2nd Team D3Hoops.com All-Star.  He finished 13th all-time in scoring with 1,159 career points.

Gittens has trained with Big Apple Basketball during the off-season since 2013 and was also a part of the BAB instructional video series with HowCast.  Watch video below of Gittens demonstrating, HOW TO DO AN UP & UNDER!
