BASKETBALL LEGEND, ED PINCKNEY TRAVELS TO VERMONT W/ BAB

FullSizeRender 4Colchester, VT - Big Apple Basketball would like to send a special thank you to NBA assistant coach, Ed Pinckney for traveling to Vermont with our group and supporting the Green Mountain Slam Fest.

Big Apple Basketball partnered with SLAM T1D to host a two-day charity basketball event to raise money and awareness for kids who have Type 1 diabetes.

Pinckney, a Bronx native led Villanova to the 1985 NCAA championship over Georgetown and was named the Final Four Most Outstanding Player.  He was selected #10 in the 1985 NBA draft and had a 12 year playing career for the Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings, Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, Toronto Raptors, Philadelphia 76ers, and Miami Heat.

He has also been an assistant coach with Villanova, the Minnesota Timberwolves, Chicago Bulls and Denver Nuggets.
