STAN KING NAMED NEW YORKER OF THE WEEK

FullSizeRender 5Brooklyn, NY - Stan King was recently selected as the New Yorker of the Week by NY1 News.

King was one of the original youth coaches for Big Apple Basketball when they launched their Scholarship Games program in April, 2003.  The showcase helped local high school seniors gain college scholarships based upon their academic achievements and basketball ability.

Today, he is the director of the Madison Square Boys and Girls Club in Flatbush, Brooklyn. He was also a New York City high school student-athlete at August Martin High School and played basketball collegiately at Wake Forest University from 1990-94.
