Mitchell has 14 years of video production experience working with the NBA, including projects with the 2016 Olympic Games, NBA Finals, and NBA All-Star Weekend, to name a few.

In her role, she will be responsible for establishing and organizing much of USA Basketball's video content in a manner that hasn't previously been designated by the organization.

When asked what she is most looking forward to in her new position, she replied, "The fact that we're starting something from scratch. USA Basketball has never had a video department and it will be a cool way to grow the game of basketball with video."

In a recent article published by USA Basketball, USA Basketball CEO Jim Tooley stated, "We are very excited to have Saudia join our team.  She brings a wealth of experience with her, including USA Basketball experience, and we look forward to exciting new video content to share with our fans."

The Temple graduate is also a cousin of Big Apple Basketball President, Jason Curry and was instrumental in assisting BAB with events, since 2003.

She added, "Working the BAB events gave me an opportunity to see some of the best young talent from around the country, over the last 10 years. It's also been a pleasure to give the players from various schools an opportunity to attend events that are well organized and create an atmosphere fit for prime competition."
