Bayside, NY - Ron Naclerio became the PSAL all-time winningest coach, when Benjamin Cardozo High School defeated Francis Lewis High School, 88-72.
He notched his 723rd career win, surpassing Charles Granby with 722 victories. Naclerio, in his 35th season, became the leader while coaching 10 less seasons than Granby.
He has been a fixture at Big Apple Basketball events, participating annually since 2004. Overall, Naclerio is 9-5 in the Big Apple Basketball Challenge and Big Apple Basketball Invitational.
Cardozo will be playing in the 13th Annual Big Apple Basketball Invitational on Saturday, January 16 versus Friendship Charter (Washington, DC) at Baruch College.
