recors winnes challenge 2New York, NY - The 9th Annual Big Apple Basketball Challenge featured great games, along with a few players and one school adding their names into the BAB Challenge record books.

Cardinal Hayes senior guard, Clive Allen tied the free throw record set by Darryl Bryant in 2007, with 15 made foul shots.  Allen made of 15 out of 16 attempts, in a 75-74 loss to Thomas Jefferson.  He totaled 23 points, three assists and one steal.

Iona Prep star guard, Ty Jerome was two assists shy of finishing with the first triple-double in BAB Challenge history.  He did make his mark in the record books, as his eight assists are tied for second all-time with Erving Walker (2007).  The UVA bound, Jerome also had 14 points, 10 rebounds and four steals, versus Wings.

Wings Academy junior, Boubacar Kamissoko made four three-pointers versus Iona Prep, which tied him for fourth all-time.  Kamissoko shout 4-for-5 from long distance and finished with 22 points and four assists.

Wings Academy broke the team three-point record set by Christ the King, who had eight three's in 2007 versus Wadleigh.  On Sunday, Wings knocked down nine three-pointers versus Iona Prep (9-for-21) to establish a new mark.
