FullSizeRender 17Ontario, Canada - Congratulations to former Big Apple Basketball participants, Jamal Murray (L) and Thon Maker on having their numbers retired at Athlete Institute, Oranageville Prep in Canada.

Both players played together in the 2015 BAB Invitational for Orangeville, but suffered a 66-64 loss to the Phelps School.

 

Murray was named 1st Team All-Tournament after posting 28 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

 

Maker totaled 14 points, eight rebounds, and two assists. Both players are now NBA rookies. Murray plays for the Denver Nuggets, while Maker is with the Milwaukee Bucks.
