Congratulations to Isaiah Washington on being named 2017 Mr. Basketball for New York State.
The 6-1 point guard finished his high school career at St. Raymond and will begin his collegiate career at Minnesota in the fall.
He averaged 26 points and six assists per game this season.
In 2015, he played in the Big Apple Basketball Invitational and led St. Raymond to an 82-73 OT win over St. John's College High School. Washington finished with 10 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals.
