BAB DEFEATS PRIME TIME IN NIKE PRO CITY

IMG 0979 3New York, NY - The Big Apple Basketball Pro Summer Team defeated Prime Time, 113-101 to keep its' playoff hopes alive.

BAB has gotten off to a slow start this summer (1-3) and needed the victory to have a chance to advance to the championship for the third time in four years.

Former NBA player, Gani Lawal led Big Apple Basketball with 31 points, 18 rebounds, and two blocks, while point guard Eugene Lawrence added 27 points, four steals and a summer-high 11 assists.

BAB also received strong contributions from LaPhonso Ellis Jr. (19 points) and Lance Goulbourne (17 points, nine rebounds).

The Pro Summer Team will take on New York Lightning on Tuesday, July 19 at 8:30pm.  All games are played at Baruch College in Manhattan.
