BAB BEGINS 5TH SEASON IN PRO CITY
New York, NY - The Big Apple Basketball Pro Summer Team will begin its' fifth season in the Nike Pro City Summer League tonight.
BAB will face PDG-Queensbridge in the leagues' first game of the summer at 6:30 at Baruch College.
"I'm looking forward to this summer," said Big Apple Basketball Coach, Jason Curry. "We've always been very competitive in Pro City and hopefully this is the year we can get over the hump and win the championship."
Notable players in the summer league over the past few years include Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Roy Hibbert, Nate Robinson and David Lee, to name a few.
Baruch College is located at 55 Lexington Avenue (corner of E. 24th Street and Lexington Avenue). The league is NBA and NCAA sanctioned, and all games are free to the public.
