BAB SURVIVES TO WIN IN OT VS. BINGO'S ALL STARS

New York, NY - The Big Apple Basketball Pro Summer Team (3-1) survived a tough overtime game to defeat Bingo's All-Stars, 120-117.

BAB featured many of its' players who will be playing in the upcoming TBT event and it paid dividends.  Chaz Williams (22 points, 12 assists), Jeff Xavier (22 points, four assists) and Garrett Stutz (22 points, 10 rebounds) led the way.  Derrick Caracter (19 points, seven rebounds) and Shane Gibson (13 points) also had strong contributions for BAB.

The game was tight throughout and Big Apple Basketball was down two points with 13 seconds remaining in regulation.  Williams made a terrific pass to Caracter, who scored a layup, alone underneath the basket to force overtime, with two seconds remaining.

Big Apple Basketball resumes play on Tuesday, July 14 at 8:30pm versus Prime Time.  All games in the Nike Pro City Summer League are held at Baruch College in Manhattan.
