BAB WINS AGAIN IN DRAMATIC FASHION

New York, NY - The Big Apple Basketball Pro Summer Team (3-1) won another close game down the stretch last night.  They defeated Prime Time 89-88 at Baruch College in the Nike Pro City Summer League.

Prime Time jumped on BAB early in the first quarter and raced to a 29-14 lead.  Big Apple Basketball battled back by outscoring Prime Time by six in the second quarter and eight in the third quarter, to take a two point lead heading into the fourth.

Chaz Williams (20 points, five assists) and Lance Goulbourne (eight rebounds) led the way for BAB. Jamelle Hagins (16 points, five rebounds) and Derrick Caracter (12 points, six rebounds) also played well in the BAB frontcourt.

Big Apple Basketball resumes play on Tuesday, July 21 at 8:30pm versus Dyckman/NYAC. All games in the Nike Pro City Summer League are held at Baruch College in Manhattan.
