tymell murph 2 editNew York, NY - The Big Apple Basketball Pro Summer Team pushed its' record to 4-1, with a 99-97 come from behind victory over Dyckman/NYAC.

Big Apple Basketball came out very sluggish in the first quarter, as Dyckman/NYAC dominated an early 36-22 lead.  BAB bounced back in the second quarter outscoring Dyckman/NYAC 30-16 to tie the game at the half.  BAB trailed by three heading into the final quarter, but held the opponents to only 18 fourth quarter points and holding on for the two point victory.

Tymell Murphy had a strong performance with 37 points (16-22 FG), six rebounds and four assists.  Lance Goulbourne scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Desi Washington chipped in with 13 points and four assists.  Rod Odom also added 19 points.

Big Apple Basketball resumes play on Tuesday, July 28 at 8:30pm versus TNP. All games in the Nike Pro City Summer League are held at Baruch College in Manhattan.
